Mr. McFaul focuses his practice in the area of construction litigation including the representation of design professionals.
Mr. McFaul is a Partner in L’Abbate, Balkan, Colavita & Contini, LLP’s Garden City office where his practice focuses on construction litigation including the representation of design professionals in all state and federal courts, alternative dispute resolution forums and matters involving professional disciplinary actions, as well as risk management consulting for the design professional. Dan has experience defending architects, engineers, construction managers, general contractors and material suppliers in a wide range of multi-party complex construction claims including malpractice, breach of contract, delay, subrogation, personal injury, labor law and property damage.
Dan is a member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance, the Nassau County Bar Association, the Chaminade Alumni Lawyers Association and holds the Preeminent AV® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell®, its highest rating for ethics and legal ability.
Mr. McFaul graduated from the University of Scranton in 1996, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. Thereafter, he earned his Master of Arts degree in History in 1998 from St. John’s University and subsequently earned his Juris Doctor in 2003 from St. John’s University School of Law.
