On Tuesday, February 26, 2019, L’Abbate Balkan partner, Daniel A. McFaul, presented a live Continuing Legal Education seminar entitled, “Defending Clients in Professional Disciplinary Actions”.
Throughout the seminar, Mr. McFaul discussed what to expect when representing a licensed professional who is faced with a professional misconduct claim. Topics included: what constitutes professional misconduct, typical complaints, the investigation process, responding to the investigation, consent agreements, hearings, penalties and the impact on other legal proceedings.
