Ms. Mueller is Of Counsel to L’Abbate, Balkan, Colavita & Contini, LLP, where she practices in the firm’s General Liability, and Labor & Employment Services Groups. She concentrates her practice in the area of professional liability, including the defense of lawyers and accountants.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Mueller had a general practice law firm where she handled a broad range of matters, including real estate transactions, criminal defense, wills, bankruptcy, business formations, foreclosure and complex litigation. She brings with her nearly 20 years of experience in state and federal litigation.
Ms. Mueller has the benefit of her varied experience to apply in the wide array of circumstances that arise in the context of professional liability defense. Ms. Mueller received her Juris Doctor in 2004 from Touro Law where she was a CALI Academic Excellence Award recipient, and her Bachelor of Arts from Long Island University, where she was a member of the Criminal Justice Honor Society, Alpha Phi Sigma.
Ms. Mueller is admitted to practice in the State of New York, and before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
