On Thursday, November 1, 2018, L’Abbate Balkan partner, Daniel A. McFaul, Jr., will speak at the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC) Fall Conference. Mr. McFaul will present a PDH Course, "Emerging Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Design Professionals."
Technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are quickly emerging as important tools being utilized in the construction industry for both design development and project implementation. This session will discuss some of the technology currently being used including virtual reality, business information modeling (BIM), project management software, automated machine guidance technology, global positioning systems, drones, autonomous vehicles and robotics.
Mr. McFaul's program will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on November 1st.
The ACEC New York 2018 Fall Conference will be held October 31, 2018 through November 2, 2018, at The Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada.
