On November 29, 2018, Keith J. Stevens will present "Risk Management and Life Safety Concerns For Today’s Designers”, at the School of Visual Arts college in New York City. SVA NYC is a multidisciplinary college of art and design known for its unparalleled faculty and innovative curriculum.

Mr. Stevens is looking forward to addressing the college students and future design professionals. The Professional Practice course explores the nature of the client-designer relationship with special attention to providing marketable skills that clients are interested in procuring. Mutual expectations are identified, along with developing a working knowledge of standard forms of agreement. It covers the resources necessary to provide services, such as office organization; managing people, time and money, and recognizing social styles of interaction. Students prepare and present proposals for interior design services to guest critics. The course emphasizes the importance of communication through comprehensive content, compelling graphics and oral presentation.
