Partner Douglas R. Halstrom presented a PDH accredited seminar entitled, “Ethical Considerations for New York Engineers”, at the request of The American Council of Engineering Companies of New York. Attorney Halstrom’s program took place via webinar on Tuesday afternoon, December 2, 2025.
This important and quite timely seminar addressed important ethical considerations for licensed professional engineers, including conflicts of interest, public safety, and welfare and intellectual property. How these crucial issues impact those in the engineering field was also discussed in depth, along with the interplay of same between owners and other design professionals. Another popular topic of interest covered during attorney Halstrom’s presentation was the importance of making sure not to compromise integrity for cost, or other factors.
