In January of 2016, NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation) published the article "Preparation, Preparation, Preparation - Investing in the Mediation" by L'Abbate Balkan partner, Richard P. Byrne.
The article discusses how Mediations should be viewed as much more akin to a trial with “preparation, preparation, preparation” being the mantra chanted. Mediations provide that moment in time which is part of – yet removed from – the litigation process.
