Ms. Heilpern's practice focuses primarily on civil litigation with an emphasis in defense of professional negligence and construction defect claims.
Ms. Heilpern works out of the Firm’s New Jersey office. Her practice focuses primarily on civil litigation with an emphasis in defense of professional negligence and construction defect claims. Ms. Heilpern represents attorneys, real estate agents and brokers, insurance brokers, architects, engineers and contractors. She has over 17 years’ experience litigating in the State and Federal Courts of New Jersey and New York.
Ms. Heilpern entered private practice in 2001 focusing on civil litigation including personal injury, professional negligence, civil rights, employment discrimination, commercial litigation, and insurance coverage disputes. In addition, Ms. Heilpern served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Stephen E. Mochary and the Honorable Arthur Minuskin in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Essex County from 2000-2001.
Ms. Heilpern received her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University, School of Law in 2000. She received her undergraduate degree from Binghamton University in 1997.
Ms. Heilpern is admitted to practice before the Courts of the States of New Jersey, New York and Florida; the United States District Court, District of New Jersey; the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit; United States District Court, Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She is a member of the Florida Bar Association.
