Ms. Gart concentrates her practice in the representation of design professionals, and other members in the construction industry, focusing on her clients' professional and business needs as they launch and proceed through all phases of a construction project.
Ms. Gart works closely with her clients crafting and negotiating agreements for services, and guiding them in their professional practice and business issues with clearheaded, creative advice and solutions.

Ms. Gart primarily practices in LBC&C's Design Professionals and Construction Industry Groups. She is a frequent lecturer on a broad range of issues relating to architects, engineers and the construction industry as a whole regarding risk and practice management, intellectual property rights, and the American Institute of Architects' standard agreements and alternatives.
Ms. Gart presently serves as Counsel to the Long Island Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and also authors articles of interest to design professionals on a wide variety of topics.
Ms. Gart received her Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University School of Law in 1979.
Since her admission to the New York Bar, Ms. Gart's experience includes design professional liability defense and addressing the business issues of her professional clients, such as the preparation and evaluation of business-related agreements.
Ms. Gart is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
